Hey pips, it been a while, but I am back with a look that is perfect for this cold, rainy spring weather. This outfit can be worn best during the fall weather and also when transitioning between fall and spring. I am working to have a consistent schedule, but at the moment, it is best to go where ever the wind takes me (aka going with the flow). It has been a busy month, but my stubborn self is tackling it like Floyd in this cold May weather. May has got me playing dress-up for events such as birthdays for my sister and my friend. This look was my OOTN (outfit of the night), which got me many compliments.
The fun part about this look is that it was on sale and was purchase from @Forever21. I believe the skirt, Jacket and cropped stripe sweater total 40 dollars. All three items were purchased on boxing day sale last year. I plan on wearing each piece separately, but I love how they compliment each other even more together. The orche-burnt coat/jacket screams fall, but the earthy tone also says spring has sprung. This trench coat has become my staple piece, and I believe I paired it with my green printed pencil skirt, keep a lookout for that post next.
I accessorized with a black faux leather envelope clutch and a classy tied up suede heels. Which gave the outfit that extra elegance to the look.
I love anything with stripes, once in a while when I come across a striped sweater or top, cropped or long they always scream “cash me out”, I’m yours! And this cropped black and white versatile little striped sweater create a style-forward look. Stripes usually compose a playful but nautical look. A touch of black makes the outfit stand out given it a bold look.
I always love wearing bottoms that have pockets, but this pencil silhouette faux leather skirt is an exception. The slit on this skirt, showing a bit of skin is captivating and flirtatious but still conservative. It is going to be fun pairing this faux leather skirt with my whites, prints and even coloured tops. Hopefully, I can recreate a beautiful look, such as this outfit.
My goal is to have as much looks to share with you all. Thanks for dropping by, see you next time!!
